MBBS Abroad: NEET, Documents & Verification Checklist
Use this checklist to organise documents and verify current admission and regulatory requirements for MBBS abroad before paying application or tuition fees.
Start with eligibility, not marketing
Before comparing scholarships, hostels or destination photos, confirm your own eligibility and the exact requirements of the university. For Indian students, verify the current NEET and foreign-medical-education requirements through official sources before proceeding.
The NMC maintains a dedicated section and current regulations for students seeking medical education abroad. NMC guidance for students studying abroad ↗
Core document checklist
- Class 10 and 12 certificates / marksheets
- NEET result or other current entrance-test documentation, where applicable
- Passport and identity documents
- Passport-size photographs
- Birth-date proof
- Financial / sponsorship documents when required
- Additional university-specific forms and declarations
Verification checklist
Check the official university name, campus, programme duration, language, clinical training, internship location and recognition status. Do not rely only on an agent brochure or a third-party social post.
Keep a compliance file
Save the current regulator rules, university admission letter, fee schedule, receipts and all emails in one place. Medical education rules can change, so the documents you use should be the current version for your intake.
